Q: Is voting fun?
A: Voting is a lot of fun! It combines good citizenship with stickers!
After all these years, I still get excited about going to vote. Just had to show off my sticker!
Sadly, I was unable to vote for Tuffy . He wasn’t on the Maryland ballot. The Aged Cat is fuming about it still. Fuming! He’s been ranting about the political disenfranchisement of pets all afternoon.
I asked The Aged whether he’d done anything to get Tuffy on the ballot. He “hrmph’d” and excused himself to go to the litterbox.
That’s politics for ya. Is it too late to get Tuffy on the ballot as a write-in candidate?

I’d vote for Tuffy! The Aged is a smart cat, thinking about pawlitics! Pets don’t get much attention or support on the pawlitical front!

I don’t know about Rusty for vice-president….he’ll probally spend more time chasing squirrels and having his hair done than working on budget, congressional nomenclature and legislative stuff.

Nevis, I think I could work some good pawlitics in to the busy schedule of squirrel chasing. I could do away with having the hair done all together. I’m still mad at mom about that!
I’m having a little trouble with that “funky award” myself. About half the time a red X shows up instead of the picture. I put it in two different ways. I copy and pasted. I saved as then imported the picture. Hope one of those works for you!

My owner says he loves to vote too. Do you get treats if you vote? Maybe Tuffy will be on the ballot in our upcoming primary.

i was so excited when i voted! it made me cheery all day. cody bear had strong opinions about who should be president. that is why he made me put the link to the humane society legislative fund on our blog.
he is really worried that the next president won’t give him cause to wag.
if tuffy is pres, and jonesy is secretary of state, cody bear would like to be chief justice of the supreme court.
he would also like to see checkers as the secretary of kibble, naturally….

Thank you all for your support! Cody Bear, you can be on the supreme court. I will really give you all a lot of extra treats for voting for me. Thank you Aged Cat. We will have a national holiday celebrating cats in your honor when I’m elected. I would love for anyone to put my button on your blog.

Yay! Thanks Tuffy! I think your cabinet and your Supreme Court are shaping up quite nicely. The Aged will campaign for you, and try to get you the feline endorsement. The only kickback he requests, aside from a that holiday and barrel of pork, is a national catnip reserve.
Nevis, please show Rusty some respect! Look what he does to support education. And he’s a uniter not a divider. Just the fellow we need a heartbeat away from Tuffy.
Now, how to get those buttons and awards into the sidebar, . . .
